SBP-held foreign reserves up by $393m to $4.46b

The State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) reserves have increased by US$ 393 million to US$ 4,462.7 million mainly due to the receipt of official GoP inflows, reported 24NewsHDE TV channel.

According to a breakdown issued by the SBP through a press release,the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 9,745.5 million as of 30-Jun-2023.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 4,462.7 million and Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 5,282.8 million

Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 9,745.5 million

During the week ended on 30-Jun-2023, SBP reserves increased by US$ 393 million to US$ 4,462.7 million mainly due to receipt of official GoP inflows.
