A tragic double murder has left the villagers in utter shock after two abandoned dead bodies of a 23-year-old man and a young woman were found in the fields of Unchi Rasoolpur, a village in Alipur area of Narowal on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police reports suggested that the victims were fatally shot in what appeared to be a deliberate and targeted attack by unidentified assailants.
Following the brutal killing, the victims’ bodies were dumped in the fields by the suspects before they fled the scene.
The incident has left the local dwellers of the village in a state of fear, uncertainty, and deep concern.
The victims’ identities, as of now, remained unknown and haven’t been confirmed.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and initiated a full-scale investigation aimed at uncovering the perpetrators involved in this heinous crime.
