A domestic conflict, which reportedly took place in the City Police Station area of Arifwala, turned deadly as a woman allegedly ended her husband’s life following a heated tiff on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident involved Maimoona Shabbir, who allegedly killed her husband by stabbing him multiple times, amid a domestic altercation at their residence.
Although the victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving there.
The City Police, subsequent to the incident, registered a murder case against the accused woman.
The complaint was lodged by the deceased’s brother, Asif.
A formal investigation has since been initiated.
