Authorities have decided to make the passport home delivery system for overseas Pakistanis faster and more reliable on the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The decision was made at a high-level meeting chaired by Director General Immigration and Passports Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
Representatives of NADRA, National Bank of Pakistan and DHL attended the meeting.
Officials reviewed measures to make the passport home delivery service for overseas Pakistanis easier, quicker and safer.
The meeting agreed to finalise the procedure for delivering passports to applicants at their homes.
Officials also decided to strengthen coordination among institutions to provide maximum convenience to overseas Pakistanis.
The meeting directed authorities to speed up practical steps to ensure timely and secure delivery of passports.
