Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesperson Shafi Jan said the party was entering the final stages of organisational restructuring and a major announcement was expected soon.
Speaking in Rawalpindi, Shafi Jan said more than 60,000 members had been registered for the party’s “Release Force” campaign.
He said PTI’s movement could not move forward without a proper organisational structure and urged all provincial presidents to complete party organisations as soon as possible.
Shafi Jan said the organisational process was nearly complete in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the formation of the Insaf Student Federation, youth, women, minority, Insaf Doctors Forum and Insaf Lawyers Forum was essential to strengthen the party.
Praising PTI leader Suhail Afridi, he said Afridi had led the street movement in an exemplary manner and created political impact across Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Shafi Jan said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was fully prepared for any future course of action and would implement any decision taken by Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
He said participation in the planned protest outside Adiala Jail was a shared responsibility of all provinces, not one region alone.
The PTI spokesperson said the party needed people willing to work hard and those unwilling to do so should step down from their positions.
He said PTI’s political committee was continuing consultations on its future strategy and the next plan would be unveiled after the completion of three years.
However, he said he hoped circumstances would not require waiting until that deadline.
