Pakistani musician Raamis Ali has left fans and fellow celebrities in stitches after reacting to Cristiano Ronaldo's exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Taking to Instagram, Raamis shared a video expressing his confusion over the intense rivalry between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi fans.
Raamis said he couldn't understand why Messi supporters seemed happier about Ronaldo's elimination than Ronaldo fans were upset by it.
"I watched the match and yes, Ronaldo is out. But I don't understand why Messi's fans are happier than Ronaldo's fans are sad," he said.
Raamis added that people from across Pakistan had been calling him nonstop to tease him over the result and that even those who never call him during difficult times or to share good news suddenly remembered him after the match.
"I've been hanging up calls for so long, and now they're messaging and hurling insults," he quipped.
His wife, Eyeina Shahzad came to his defense, commenting, "Ronaldo is the real GOAT, Messi fans need to accept this fact."
Raamis responded with a romantic reply, writing, "One of the reasons I married you."
The fun didn't stop there. Actor and singer Samar Jafri joined the comments to roast his friend, "This is your bad time since the calls are flooding in.
Accept it." Raamis fired back with, "Brother, you are getting blocked directly."
Samar doubled down on the banter, encouraging others to join in, writing, "Guys, don't just call and abuse him individually, let's all group together and abuse him like I did!"
Singer Aashir Wajahat also joined the fun, tagging Samar and joking, "Don't hurl insults without me, man."
While his celebrity friends kept the playful trolling going, Raamis loyal fans rallied behind him.
Many declared Ronaldo the "GOAT" regardless of the tournament's outcome,with comments such as, "Ronaldo is always the GOAT, whether he wins or loses," and, "They only hate him because they can never be him."
