Embassies and consulates from around the world extended warm Eid al-Adha greetings to the people of Pakistan, conveying messages of peace, harmony, and goodwill.
The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan, via social platform X, conveyed the heartfelt wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the people of Saudi Arabia.
The message, shared by the embassy spokesperson, expressed hopes for prosperity, health, and blessings for the people of Pakistan, stating, “May you remain in well-being every year.”
The United States Embassy in Islamabad also shared a message on X, extending warm wishes to everyone celebrating Eid al-Adha.
“We wish all who celebrate Eid al-Adha a joyful holiday filled with peace, prosperity, and happiness. Eid Mubarak!”
In Karachi, several consulates joined in expressing their festive messages:
Oman’s Consul General, Engr Sami Abdullah Al-Khanjari, offered greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and worldwide.
UK Deputy High Commissioner Lance Dom wished Eid Mubarak to all Pakistanis, hoping this occasion spreads love and peace.
Russia’s Consul General, Andrey Viktorovich Fedorov, extended his congratulations through a video message, wishing joy, harmony, and unity to Pakistani friends and their families.
Japan’s Consul General, Nakagawa Yasushi, advised people to enjoy meat moderately and stay mindful of health due to high temperatures.
Malaysia’s Consul General, Harmain Hardinata Ahmad, conveyed Eid greetings on behalf of the Malaysian government and people, emphasising the message of sacrifice, unity, and brotherhood.
Romania’s Ambassador, Dr. Dan Stanescu, shared a prayerful message for unity, love, and prosperity on Eid.
Honorary Consul General of Côte d'Ivoire, Fazal Karim Dadabhoy, reminded everyone that the spirit of Eid lies in compassion and sharing with the needy.
Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia Ibrahim Towab sent Eid greetings to all Ethiopians living in Pakistan and said, “The real joy of Eid al-Adha is in celebrating with your loved ones.”
