Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) Headquarters in Wana on Eidul Azha, where he celebrated the festival with officers and soldiers stationed along Pakistan's western border.
Upon arrival, Minister Naqvi was warmly received by the Inspector General Frontier Corps KP (South), 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Saturday.
During the visit, he laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial, paying rich tribute to the tribal citizens, security personnel, and police officers who sacrificed their lives for the nation's peace and sovereignty.
The minister offered Eid prayers with the troops and prayed for the country’s peace, stability, and prosperity.
Addressing the soldiers afterwards, Naqvi praised their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism, calling their commitment the true strength of Pakistan.
“Your sacrifices and steadfastness are the backbone of Pakistan’s security,” he said, adding that the spirit of the tribal people in the fight against terrorism remains a valuable national asset.
