A shopkeeper tortured a 10-year-old boy on suspicion of stealing cigarettes in Jahanian, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the report, the child was allegedly tied with ropes in the market and was tortured for several hours.
After the incident, there was intense anger in the area, and citizens immediately called and informed the police.
The police immediately reached the spot and rescued the minor child.
Investigation into the incident has begun and legal action is underway.
