TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Nani Wala, was produced by the police before a Cantt court after a case was registered against him at Defence C Police Station, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police records, the case was filed on the complaint of traffic police officer Fahad ur Rehman.
The FIR states that the case was registered under sections related to negligent and reckless driving as well as obstructing public officials in the discharge of their duties.
According to the FIR, traffic police officials signalled a non-registered vehicle with black-tinted windows to stop during routine checking.
However, instead of complying with the instructions, the driver allegedly sped away and drove the vehicle in the wrong direction on a one-way road, the FIR stated.
The FIR further alleged that when traffic officials attempted to pursue the vehicle, the driver tried to hit them with the car during the chase.
According to the complaint, the accused later parked the vehicle outside his residence in Defence Phase 7, where he allegedly continued to threaten traffic police officials.
