The federal government has decided to construct a hospital in Tharparkar District, hit by food shortages, and has urged the Sindh government to provide land for the purpose, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The National Health Ministry has written a letter to Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah for acquisition of the land for building a hospital at a suitable place.
The Centre also directed the provincial authorities to prepare and submit a comprehensive proposal regarding the hospital.
The Sindh authorities were also directed to include PC-II feasibility study document along with cost estimate in their proposal.
The federal government will implement its decision after the recommendation from the Sindh government.
