Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar says the government will continue playing its role for the welfare of the lawyers, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
He was talking to a delegation of Multan Bar Association in Islamabad. The Minister also announced release of funds worth five million rupees for Multan Bar Association.
Meanwhile, a delegation from various bar associations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa called on Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar to discuss legal matters.
According to the official statement, the minister assured that technical and financial assistance would be provided for the computerized registration of lawyers under the KP Bar Council.
The registration process will be conducted through NADRA and efforts will begin soon to implement the system.
Additionally, the law minister distributed grant-in-aid cheques to representatives of different bar associations as financial support.
Law Minister said the federal government remains committed to the development and progress of bar associations across all provinces.
