More evidence has emerged about use of US-made weapons in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. These weapons were left behind by US troops while withdrawing from Afghanistan in 2021, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Security sources said that on March 4, 2025, Pakistani security forces thwarted an attack on Bannu Cantt by terrorists of Fitna Al-Khwarij and also killed 16 terrorists including four suicide bombers.
Sources further revealed that Pakistani security forces recovered foreign-made arms and ammunition, projected grenades, M-4 explosive material from the possession of these terrorists.
Pakistani security forces also conducted an intelligence-based operation after receiving credible intelligence report about presence of Khwarij in North Waziristan.
After the operation security forces recovered foreign origin arms from the possession of six Khawarij. The arms includes M-4, M-24 snipers, M016-A4.
On February 15, 2025, 30 terrorists were gunned down in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts.
There is a big question mark on the statement of interim Afghan government about usage of foreign weapons against Pakistan.
According to Euro Asian Times, banned Tareek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) using this foreign origin weapons against security forces of Pakistan.
It is necessary to mention here that Pentagon also admitted that at the time of US forces withdrawal from Afghanistan they left 3,00,000 weapons out of 4,50,000 weapons.
