As many as 15 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations launched by the security forces personnel in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Twelve terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij were sent to hell during an intelligence-based operation launched in District Harnai.

During another operation in Basima, three Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were eliminated.

The operations targeted groups affiliated with Indian-backed proxies Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists, also referred to as Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to an ISPR statement released on Saturday, during the operation in Harnai Pakistani forces effectively engaged the militants at their hideout. After an intense firefight, 12 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the hideout.

A second operation took place in Basima District against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists.

The Army tracked the presence of militants and engaged them using mixed-caliber weapons. Three Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in the encounter, with additional weapons and explosives seized.

The ISPR emphasized that sanitization operations were ongoing to eliminate any remaining foreign-backed terrorists in the region.

These operations are part of Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign, “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, aiming to remove foreign-supported terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have commended security forces for successful operations against Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan.

In his statement, the President said elimination of terrorists operating under Indian patronage in  the intelligence based operations demonstrate the professional capability and determination of security forces.

He said eliminating foreign backed terrorism remains the top priority.

The President said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the unwavering commitment to protect the homeland.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted the security forces are achieving significant successes against terrorism.

He expressed the firm commitment to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to Pakistan’s security forces after they carried out two successful intelligence-based operations against terrorists in Balochistan, describing the actions as a major blow to Indian-sponsored terrorism in the region.

According to the minister, the “brave sons of the security forces” eliminated 15 militants during the operations, terming the achievement a “significant success” in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

Naqvi said the nation stands proud of the professionalism and courage demonstrated by the security personnel. “We salute the fearless soldiers who thwarted the nefarious designs of the terrorists,” he said.

Reaffirming the government’s resolve, the minister declared that Pakistan remains fully committed to the complete eradication of what he referred to as Fitna al-Hindustan” from the country. “The soil of Pakistan is being cleansed of this menace once and for all,” he added.
