Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said India’s actions following the Pahalgam attack and last night’s airstrikes look like a choreographed exercise.

He said Pakistan received intel on a possible attack from India at around 10pm yesterday. He said Pakistan has exercised restraint even at the moment.

Dar said, “There were instructions to only attack Indian jets that released a payload, if the direction had been otherwise, nearly 10-12 jets would have been struck down”.

Earlier DPM Dar chaired a meeting in Islamabad today (Wednesday) to discuss the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India with foreign ministers and ambassadors from 26 countries on the morning of the 24th.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar said that India firsts of all closed the Attari border, expelled those who were on Pakistani visas, and suspended the Indus Waters Treaty. He said if India takes such an aggressive action, we will respond in a befitting manner. He said that “we would responded effectively”.
