The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Tuesday night that India carried out missile strikes at three places in Pakistan.
The ISPR DG said that India fired missiles into Pakistan from its own airspace.
He said that Pakistan's armed forces are retaliating against the Indian attack.
He said that Pakistan would convert India's temporary joy into permanent mourning.
He said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was on high alert.
He said that the damage caused by these missile strikes was being assessed.
After the cowardly Indian attack, Pakistani authorities suspended flight operations at airports across the country for the next 48 hours. A NOTAM has been issued in this regard.

India carried out missile strikes in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur and Muridke.
According to ISPR, a child was martyred and two people were wounded in the Bahawalpur missile strike on Subhan Mosque.

Clouds of war have been hovering over Pakistan and India since the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam that India blamed on Pakistan.
Pakistan however, vehemently denied its involvement in the attack, which took place in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and offered to cooperate with India for an independent investigation.
