President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned India’s unprovoked aggression against Pakistan, particularly targeting civilian populations across the border.

He asserted that Pakistan will deliver a strong and befitting response to the Indian hostilities.

“The Indian provocation will be met with full force and with Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” President Zardari stated.

He emphasised that targeting civilian areas and launching unprovoked attacks constitute blatant violations of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Pakistan’s sovereignty.

“The entire Pakistani nation stands by the armed forces,” he said.

President Zardari remarked that India’s cowardly actions expose the true face of a fascist regime.

He said the Indian government is jeopardising regional peace and security to further its domestic political agenda.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), India carried out missile strikes late Tuesday night.

The ISPR DG said that Pakistan's armed forces are retaliating against the Indian attack.  He said that Pakistan would convert India's temporary joy into permanent mourning.

After the cowardly Indian attack, Pakistani authorities suspended flight operations at airports across the country for the next 48 hours.

Clouds of war have been hovering over Pakistan and India since the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam that India blamed on Pakistan.

Pakistan, however, vehemently denied its involvement in the attack, which took place in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and offered to cooperate with India for an independent investigation.
