New SWAT teams have been formed in the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after a large-scale reshuffle, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to a notification issued on the instructions of the DG FIA, the Counter-Terrorism Department has been reorganized for Quetta, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.
New officers and personnel from different departments were appointed in SWAT teams.
Notification of new SWAT team also issued after transfers on the instructions of DG FIA.
