Pakistan marks first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with tribute to air force

Pakistan marked the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq on the night of May 6 and 7, with the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, commemorating a defining chapter in the country’s military history.

According to an official statement issued by the ISPR, the milestone strengthened national confidence, reaffirmed institutional resolve and validated the Pakistan Air Force’s continued focus on modernization and capability enhancement. The occasion was also described as a reflection of the force’s journey toward becoming a future-ready air power through the induction of advanced systems and rapid operationalization of emerging and disruptive technologies.

The statement highlighted the Air Force’s emphasis on multi-domain operations, noting that such capabilities have enabled it to evolve into a future-focused and capable force prepared to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amid changing dynamics of modern warfare. It added that the execution of these operations, termed unprecedented in scope, demonstrated professional excellence and boosted national morale.

Reiterating Pakistan’s position as a peace-loving country, the statement said the armed forces embody a responsible strategic culture, with all efforts directed toward preserving peace, promoting regional stability and ensuring security. It emphasized that peace remains closely tied to honour, dignity and sovereign equality.

The armed forces, the statement said, remain mindful of the evolving geopolitical and regional security environment, as well as advancements by adversarial forces. Despite shifting strategic conditions, their resolve to defend the country remains firm, with continued investment in advanced capabilities, modern technologies and professional excellence to meet future challenges.

It further stated that the forces are fully prepared for any future battlespace and stand ready to respond decisively to any aggression, asserting that any hostile design against Pakistan would be met with greater strength, precision and resolve.

On the occasion, the nation paid tribute to members of the Pakistan Air Force for their professionalism, sacrifice and operational commitment, which were described as pivotal in the defence of the country’s airspace.

The statement concluded by expressing confidence that the Pakistan Air Force will continue to remain a symbol of pride, strength and national confidence.
