A man shot his wife dead over ‘honour’ in Shikarpur and escaped from the scene, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident occurred in the village of Babrak Jatoi, within the jurisdiction of Rustam Police Station in Shikarpur.
Police said that the woman’s husband, who was identified as Ali Mohammad Jatoi killed his wife, Saima Jatoi, for having illicit relationship.
Soon after the incident, a police party reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the woman to Khanpur Hospital.
Later, the police handed over the dead body of the woman to her heirs. The police failed to register a case against the Saima’s husband.
