Jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan said on Tuesday that 40 cases had been registered against her and she would be arrested in one of these cases; she was ready for this sacrifice.
Speaking to the media near Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Aleema said she was there to deliver message of Imran Khan, founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), but if someone else wanted to deliver this message they should go ahead.
Referring to Field Marshal Asim Munir, Aleema said if someone wanted to deliver a message on "Asim Law", they should do it.
She said that she comes and delivers Imran Khan's message, but it gets edited later. She said there was no one else in the PTI who could deliver Imran Khan's message. "We are alone," she said.
She said no one would stand next to her due to the nature of the message she would deliver. She said that Imran Khan must be released from jail to keep Pakistan united. "Look at the situation in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and the situation is also bad in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Had any other country in the world been in such a situation, she said, all stakeholders would have sit together to fix it.
