Zoheb Hassan has expressed disappointment over those who failed to reach out to him after the death of his beloved mother, announcing that he will be removing such individuals from his friends list.

Taking to social Instagram, the Disco Deewane hitmaker shared a touching photograph of his late mother and paid an emotional tribute, calling her “the single most important person” in his life.

In his heartfelt note, Zoheb said that her passing has left a void that can never be filled, while also taking a strong stand against those who didn’t bother to extend their sympathies.

“Any person on my friend list in Pakistan who didn't condole on her passing, I as of now will not consider a 'friend' and shall remove them from my friend list,” he wrote.

The singer, who rose to fame alongside his sister, the late Nazia Hassan, as one of Pakistan’s first pop sensations, made it clear that respect and empathy are values he holds dear.

Zoheb expressed gratitude to those who stood by him during this difficult time.“As for the hundreds of friends who did and made the effort to attend the funeral and the prayers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love you back,” he added.

Zoheb’s mother had been a strong presence in his life and career, often described by him as his “biggest supporter.”

Her death marks another emotional chapter for the singer, who has already endured personal loss with the passing of his sister Nazia, one of South Asia’s most iconic voices.
