Summer vacations at the Supreme Court are over and tomorrow will be the first day of the new judicial year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
A judicial conference will be held at 9:30 AM tomorrow in connection with the day, which will be addressed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi.
Following the conference, the CJP will inaugurate the Facilitation Center, while from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, a five-member constitutional bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan, will hear 1,250 petitions pertaining to the super tax.
At 1:00 PM, a full court meeting of the judges will be held.
CJP Afridi will preside over the meeting.
Suggestions regarding the Supreme Court Rules, 2025 will come under discussion at the meeting.
