A fire broke out on the top floors of an eight-storey building housing offices in Karachi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A large crowd was gathered outside the building located near Generator Market on Shahrah-e-Liaquat.
Three fire tenders and a snorkel from the fire brigade department were busy in dousing the flames coming out of the top floors of the building housing several offices.
The fire-fighters have also launched operation with the help of the snorkel to rescue the people stranded in the building.
Police and Rescue volunteers also took part in the rescue efforts.
According to Edhi Foundation officials, three people were rushed to Civil Hospital for burn injuries.
