The Iranian Embassy in Pakistan has said that Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephonic conversation with Syed Asim Munir, during which Pakistan’s diplomatic role in promoting regional peace was widely appreciated.
According to a statement shared on social media, the Iranian foreign minister commended Pakistan’s continuous and effective efforts to help end the ongoing conflict and strengthen peace and security in the region. He described Pakistan’s role as constructive and responsible in working toward a ceasefire.

Araghchi also praised the diplomatic initiatives carried out under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, terming them commendable amid heightened regional tensions.
The embassy quoted the Iranian foreign minister as saying that Pakistan has played a key role in advancing efforts aimed at de-escalation and restoring stability in the region.
The development reflects close diplomatic coordination between Islamabad and Tehran as both countries continue to engage in efforts to promote peace and regional security.
