Preparations are underway in the federal capital to host anticipated talks between Iran and the United States, with authorities initiating extensive arrangements for foreign delegations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Officials have begun organising the arrival and accommodation of international participants, selecting a private five-star hotel to host the visiting guests. As part of the security protocol, the hotel administration has reportedly asked existing residents to vacate the premises to ensure exclusive access for the delegations.
Authorities have also devised a comprehensive traffic management plan. Roads leading to the designated hotel will be closed, with containers to be placed along key routes to restrict access. Special routes have been allocated for the secure transportation of foreign guests to and from the venue.
Security in the city has been significantly heightened, with Islamabad Police tasked with ensuring foolproof arrangements. According to Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfaraz Work, strict measures are being enforced due to the movement of foreign delegations.
He added that the Red Zone and surrounding areas have been closed to all traffic except official vehicles, while non-essential vehicles are strictly prohibited from entering the high-security zone.
The developments indicate a high-level diplomatic engagement, with authorities leaving no stone unturned to ensure security and smooth conduct of the expected talks.
