Pakistan's captain Mohammad Rizwan decided to bowl first after winning the toss against the West Indies in the first encounter being played at Tarouba in Trinidad on Friday.
Young Pakistani batter Hassan Nawaz marked the beginning of his One Day International (ODI) career as he debuted in the first ODI against the West Indies in Trinidad.
The 20-year-old cricketer was presented with his debut cap by Pakistan team manager Naveed Akram Cheema in a pre-match ceremony. Surrounded by teammates and coaching staff, Hassan received warm applause and heartfelt wishes for a successful international career.
