The dead bodies of a 22-year-old man, Jaffar Hussain and 19-year-old woman, Najma were recovered from a house in the Budhla Sant area of Multan on Saturday.
According to police, a pistol was also recovered near the bodies while the initial suspicion is that both victims were shot dead. Police reached the scene after receiving information through 15 emergency helpline and launched an investigation.
Police said Jaffar Hussain was married and had reportedly come to the house of his relative Najma. The bodies were shifted to Nishtar Hospital for further legal formalities, while police have begun inspecting the scene. The actual facts will come to light after the detailed investigation.
