Unidentified assailants shot dead Maula Bukhsh Mehar and injured his wife, namely Tajan, during their resistance in the Bhagsar area of Khanpur Mehar district Ghotki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police sources said that the deceased person was the owner of the house. All the accused persons managed to flee the scene from committing the crime.
Later, police shifted the injured woman to a hospital for first aid.
Police, after registering a case, started an investigation.
