Minister of Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain said on Sunday that governor’s rule should be imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to reporters in Sharaqpur Sharif, Rana Tanveer said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become a camp where people gather and then invade Islamabad. He said what Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was unconstitutional, but the federal government was dealing with it patiently. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tried to build a false narrative about its workers’ deaths in Islamabad, but it failed.
He said nobody opened fire and no PTI workers was killed during the opposition party’s protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad on November 26. He said that PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan were fighting with each other. He said the federal cabinet has not discussed any such thing as ban on the PTI.
Referring to a large number of PTI supporters’ march on Islamabad from November 24 to 26, he said this is the third time PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has marched on Islamabad and now the federal government should take action against the provincial government. He said that government’s policies have resulted in a decrease in inflation in the country. He said that people rejected the PTI in the by-election in PP-139 constituency last week.
