Federal Minister for NADRA Affairs Amir Muqam on Monday held a meeting with the Director General and Chief Operating Officer of NADRA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reviewing progress on ongoing projects and approving several new initiatives across the province.
During the meeting, the minister directed authorities to immediately begin work on the NADRA Mega Center in Swat, while also ordering the conversion of the existing NADRA Center there into a full-scale Mega Center to enhance service capacity.
He instructed NADRA officials to start construction of buildings for new centers in Shahpur, Dandai, Karora, Alinder, and Tor Dher in Swabi. Muqam further directed that all vacant NADRA posts be filled without delay to ensure uninterrupted services to citizens.
The minister also approved the establishment of new NADRA centers in Akhgram and Sahibabad in Upper Dir, as well as in Kokarai and Telegram in Swat. A decision was made to open additional centers in Lilonai, Pashloor, and Kabulgram in Shangla district.
Amir Muqam said ensuring easy access for the public to identity-related services remains a top priority of the government, adding that the expansion of NADRA facilities will significantly improve service delivery across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
