The Sindh Traffic Police are set to roll out the Faceless E-Ticketing System in seven districts of the province initially, 24NewsHD TV reported.
In this regard, a high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General (IG) Sindh, officials said on Monday.
During the meeting, it was decided that the first phase of the e-ticketing system would be rolled out in seven districts of the province.
The system aims to identify vehicle number plates and violations using installed cameras, while upgrades in the remaining districts are expected to be completed in the coming days.
The IG emphasised that a comprehensive awareness campaign regarding the system and relevant traffic laws will be conducted.
He also instructed that customer facilitation centres should have courteous and trained staff to assist the public.
Additional IGs, DIGs, AIGs, and PDIT officials attended the meeting.
Officials said the e-ticketing system is equipped with cameras capable of reading number plates and detecting violations, marking a major step towards modernising traffic enforcement in Sindh.
Violations are detected through AI-enabled cameras, Safe City surveillance, and ANPR systems installed at key intersections.
