Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) minister Hammad Azhar led a rally in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-161 on Satruday.
A good number of PTI supporters showed up at the rally – part of a campaign to mount pressure on the government to free ex-PM Imran Khan and other leaders.
PTI Punjab chapter president Hammad had been avoiding public appearances amid the ongoing political crackdown. PTI MPA Farrukh Javed Moon also participated in the demonstration.
Chanting slogans in favour of PTI leadership and against the current government, the protesters reiterated their demand for ‘justice, fair political representation, and an end to political persecution’.
