More than 100 activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been arrested from six divisions of Lahore after call for protest and rally on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources in police, the arrests of the activists were made in raids late at night.
As many as 36 activists were detained from Cantt Division, 14 from Iqbal Town Division, 13 from Saddar Division, 26 from City Division and 12 from Civil Lines Division, police sources said.
Many activists were released on surety bonds. The arrests were made under Section 144 and in view of concerns of breach of peace.
