In view of difficulties confronted in receiving GPS signals in the vicinity of Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad airports, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on Saturday issued a notice in which the pilots were told to immediately report to Air Traffic Control (ATC) in case they face such a situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It has been noticed that not only do pilots confront difficulties in receiving signals in Lahore and Karachi regions but also in other areas.
The pilots were also asked to take necessary steps in case of interference in frequency so that there could be no interruption in flights.
The difficulties pilots face in receiving these signals might create problems for them during navigation.
