Two people died and two others received critical injuries as their vehicle was overturned due to a tyre burst at Saroghda Road on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources said that all the people were returning to Sargodha after attending a wedding ceremony. Sources further revealed that after the tyre burst, the car collided with a pole.
The injured people are in critical condition. Soon after receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.
Earlier on Saturday, three people were killed in a road accident in Sargodha.
According to details, three people were travelling in a car that collided with a dumper near Shalimar Smart City Sargodha.
As a result, car riders Dr Abdullah Kharral and Ahmed Ghuman sustained serious injuries and died on spot, while Abdul Moeez, the only son of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed, sustained critical head injuries and was initially shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Sargodha from where he was referred to Lahore for advanced medical treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
