Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) President Ali Rahim on Tuesday expressed his serious concerns over the failure of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to issue tax returns forms for the fiscal year 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that FBR set a deadline of September 30, 2025, for the filing of tax returns for salaried persons, businessmen, and associates.
The Federal Board of Revenue also announced that those companies whose financial year ended on June 30 can submit their tax returns till December 31, 2025.
Karachi Tax Bar Association President Ali Rahim said that thousands of taxpayers are facing difficulties in filing their tax returns due to the non-availability of tax return forms.
He further said that this act is a violation of Income Tax Rules 2002 Section 34-A, which led to late tax filing and other legal hurdles.
