Gold prices saw a notable uptick in Pakistan on Tuesday in response to a rise in international markets.

The global gold rate increased by $15 per ounce, bringing it to $3,325, which fueled a corresponding hike in domestic prices.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold surged by Rs1,500, reaching Rs354,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,286, now priced at Rs303,926.

The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went up by Rs1,178, settling at Rs278,608.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. One tola of 24-karat silver held steady at Rs3,841, and 10 grams of silver stayed at Rs3,293. The international silver price remained flat at $36.57 per ounce.

Gold rates are determined based on interbank exchange rates, and the trend suggests increased investor interest amid ongoing global economic uncertainties.
