Podcaster Asif Jatt has shared an unexpected confession about his first meeting with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, revealing that he went to expose the viral singer but left with a completely different opinion after meeting him face to face.
Speaking during a podcast hosted by Hina, Asif explained that it is uncommon for podcasters to pay guests for interviews unless the collaboration is part of a commercial project.
He revealed that Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was one of the few people he personally paid to interview because he wanted the opportunity to ask tough questions and expose him through a direct conversation.
According to Asif, his plan began to change the moment he stepped inside Chahat's home. He recalled being impressed by the atmosphere, describing the residence as modest from the outside but beautifully maintained inside. He praised the carefully arranged décor, bright colour combinations and the neat organisation of the house, saying he had not expected such an atmosphere.
Asif further shared that Chahat's warm hospitality left an even bigger impression. He said the way he welcomed the guests, served them tea and spoke with kindness completely changed his perspective within just a few minutes of arriving.
Before the podcast had even begun, Asif said he openly admitted to Chahat that he had come with the intention of exposing and embarrassing him. Instead, he found himself becoming a fan of Chahat's personality. While Asif clarified that he still does not agree with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's content, he said the meeting completely changed his opinion of him as a person.
Reflecting on the experience, Asif said that whenever Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's name comes up in the future, he will always describe him as "a great human being." He added that what began as a confrontational interview unexpectedly turned into a friendship.
