Croatia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman, will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday on an official visit on the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Office said.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson, the visit will mark the first-ever official trip to Pakistan by a Croatian foreign minister, reflecting the growing engagement between the two countries.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Dr. Grlić Radman are expected to hold wide-ranging discussions covering all aspects of bilateral relations. The talks will focus on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, visa facilitation, education, defence, information technology and maritime affairs.
The two sides will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual concern, the spokesperson said.
In addition to his meeting with the deputy prime minister, the Croatian foreign minister is expected to call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani during his stay in Islamabad.
The Foreign Office expressed confidence that the high-level visit would contribute to strengthening Pakistan-Croatia relations and open new avenues for cooperation across multiple sectors.
