Gold price plummets by Rs3,094 in Pakistan

The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Monday, with 24-karat gold per-tola rate decreasing by Rs3,094 to settle at Rs452,233 compared to Rs455,327 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,785 to Rs386,987 from Rs389,772, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down by Rs2,524 to Rs354,919 against Rs357,443.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $30.945 to $4,297.975 per ounce from $4,328.920.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs94 to Rs7,173 from Rs7,267, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs86 to Rs6,116 from Rs6,202.

The price of silver in the international market also decreased by $0.944 to $66.941 per ounce from $67.885.
