Karachi Port Trust (KPT) facilitated the first-ever delivery of 1,500 MT of IMO-compliant Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO 0.5%) to a Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) vessel through the VITOL international-standard bunker barge ‘Marine ISTA’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Karachi Port Trust also granted permission to all oil terminals to keep operating during the night, which will improve their performance.
