After the announcement of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to go D-Chowk in Islamabad, the government closed the entry point and roads lead the long marchers’ final destination on Tuesday evening.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Bilawal Bhutto addressed the Awami March participants at Sohan Interchange and said now their destination is D-Chowk as the sun of democracy is about to rise.
Soon after such announcement of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, government machinery came into action and closed all the roads and entry points to D-Chowk except Jinnah Avenue.
The government has closed D-Chowk entry from Fazl-e-Haq Road especially to stop the long marchers to reach there. A large number of Jialas has started gathering on the Fazl-e-Haq Road to go D-Chowk but the security forces have halted them.
The report said that discussions were continued between the PPP workers and the Islamabad Police.
In the reaction to blocking the roads leading to Islamabad D-Chowk, participants of the Bilawal Bhutto’s long march also blocked the Sohan interchange and Faizabad for traffic.
