The warning follows recent incidents, including a fan breaching the cricket field after India’s victory over Australia in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Additionally, authorities have apprehended spectators at football matches in the Emirates for using marine distress signals, which posed significant safety risks.
Dubai Police have clarified that dangerous materials, fireworks, or flammable substances are strictly prohibited in stadiums.
Fans found violating these regulations will face heavy fines or legal action. Furthermore, any acts of violence, racism, or political activity within sports venues will not be tolerated, with offenders facing strict consequences.
Throwing objects or liquids at players or other spectators could result in fines ranging from Rs 761,000 to Rs 2.285 million (AED 10,000 to AED 30,000).
The UAE Federal Law on Sports Security governs these regulations to ensure the safety and rights of both players and spectators.
Dubai Police have also released blurred images of offenders as a warning to the public, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining discipline at sporting events.
