A woman namely Farwa died due to severe torture by her in-laws in Chishtian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the Basti Shirazian area of Chistian.
The deceased was also mother of a girl. Police sources said that the woman died as someone hit her head with rod and later strangulated her.
Police sources further revealed that husband of the woman was suspicious about her character that she has already developed illicit relations with another man.
Police said that the woman was killed by her uncle and husband.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, local police reached the crime scene and shifted the body of the dead woman to local hospital for autopsy.
Police also registered a case of murder on behalf of Farwa’s father.
