Bollywood actor Aly Goni and comedian Munawar Faruqui have come out in support of YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, who faced severe online trolling after allegedly attempting suicide during an Instagram Live session.
The influencer, known as UK07 Rider, had earlier shared his struggles with family pressure over his intercaste marriage, which triggered backlash from social media users accusing him of seeking views.
The controversy escalated when Dobhal went live on Instagram and crashed his car while addressing his followers, in what he described as his “final drive.”
Thousands of viewers witnessed the incident, prompting widespread concern for his safety. His manager later confirmed that Dobhal was admitted to the ICU for treatment.
Aly Goni took to Instagram Stories to express outrage at the trolling, stating, “That boy shared his life openly and people mocked him. Now he tried something extreme, and you laugh? Shame on you. God is watching. I hope he’s fine.”
Similarly, Munawar Faruqui condemned the online ridicule, highlighting the seriousness of mental health and urging followers to show empathy rather than mock someone’s struggles.
Prince Narula also joined in, stressing that Dobhal needs support during this difficult time.
Earlier, Dobhal had posted a YouTube video revealing that his parents and siblings opposed his intercaste marriage to Ritika, preventing her from entering their home.
The Instagram Live incident marks the second time Dobhal allegedly attempted to take his life publicly, shining a spotlight on the pressures faced by creators sharing personal struggles online.
