A mentally ill father brutally beat his daughter with sticks, after which she breathed her last in Shergarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident took place in Mohallah Primary School in Shergarh. After listening to noise, residents of the area forcefully entered the house, where they found the dead body of Chanan Zohra.
Soon after the incident, the accused, who was later identified as Ali Daniyal, escaped from the scene.
Later, the police registered a first information report (FIR) under section 302 in Shergarh Police Station against the accused on behalf of the victim’s mother, Amina Bibi.
Police said that the accused had been mentally sick from the last few months. Police started a search operation to apprehend the accused.
One dead, three injured in Karachi road accident
One person lost his live and another three became seriously injured when a speedy vehicle hit them near Abdullah College, Orangi Town, Karachi.
The dead man was later identified as Adeel. Soon after receiving the report, the rescue team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
