The US intelligence agencies have declared regime change in Iran through military means impossible, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In their joint report, 18 intelligence agencies have said that Iran’s political and religious structure has a strong ideological foundation, and despite the fact that the country’s top leadership has been eliminated, still, it is difficult to get rid of the system.
They have further said that the Iranian revolutionary guards and the country’s forces are strong.
The agencies have said that Iran’s forces are still fully capable of managing the affairs of the country.
On the other hand, in a statement on X, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran will never be bullied into submission, and that it will defend its independence come what may.
He made it clear that Iran would not allow its enemies to occupy even one inch of its land. “If any neighbouring country’s soil is used against us, we will be left with no option but to respond,” the Iranian president said, adding that the response would not mean hostility towards that country, but it would be an act of defence.
Pezeshkian said that Iran wanted cordial relations with its neighbours. “The USA and Israel are pitting regional countries against each other.”
