An exchange of hot words took place between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Rawalpindi Police on Thursday after the latter stopped the former from marching towards the Adiala Jail, where the chief minister planned to go to meet former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As Gandapur marched towards the jail, the police stopped him at a checkpoint near a pharmaceutical company.
This infuriated the CM, who shouted at the cops, “You cannot stop me. I am the chief minister of a province. I have the court order. I will go to the jail at all costs.”
However, the police took Gandapur to a hotel where an altercation began between the former and the police.
