Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight operation affected today as well due to dispute between national airline management and aircraft engineers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
As a result of interruption in PIA flight operation, Karachi to Dubai flight PK-213 has been cancelled while Karachi to Multan flight PK-330 has been also been cancelled and Peshawar to Sharjah flight PK-257 was cancelled as well.
According to sources, as many as 40 PIA flights have been cancelled and more than 100 have been delayed in the past five days.
Sources said Karachi-Islamabad flight PK-300 departing at 7am will depart half an hour late while Karachi-Lahore flight PK-302 departing at 8am will depart late at 12:30pm and Karachi-Quetta flight PK-310 departing at 1pm will depart four and a half hours late at 5:30pm.
Similarly, Karachi-Lahore flight PK-304 departing at 2pm will depart four and a half hours late at 6pm while Karachi-Madinah flight PK-743 has been rescheduled for 10pm after a two-hour delay and Islamabad-Quetta flight PK-325 has been rescheduled for 12:30pm after a four-and-a-half-hour delay.
Moreover, Islamabad-Al Ain flight PK-143 has been rescheduled for 12:30 pm after a three-hour delay while Lahore-Karachi flight PK-303 will depart two hours late at 1pm.
Further, Lahore to Karachi flight PK-305 scheduled for 5pm will depart one hour late while Peshawar to Abu Dhabi flight PK-217 scheduled for 11am will depart seven and a half hours late at 6:30pm
